Czy powyższy log wskazuje na nieprawidłowe działanie modemu neo (sagem F@ST 600) czy moze wina leży po stronie komputera (Celeron400, 64 MB RAM, HDD 4GB)

w sumie to nie wiem czy ktokolwiek na tym forum wie o co chodzi z tymi błędami :D wiadomo że są :D
możliwe że pomagają nowe wersje pakietów i rekonfiguracja najnowszym net_Confem
jesli nie to wymiana kontrolera usb
jesli nie to może modem? jak nic nie pomoże to może linia? a jak już wszystko jest OK to pewnie wina NND :)

Wina lezy po stronie linii telefonicznej. LOS= Utrata sygnalu. Sprawdz, czy masz prawidlowo zalozone mikrofiltry (na wszelki wypadek zaloz dwa szeregowo) i obserwuj kiedy cos takiego sie pojawia: czy przy rozmowie przez telefon (wina mikrofiltrow), podczas deszczu (zdaza sie tak, ze studzienki mokna i wtedy sygnal jest slaby), przy silnym wietrze (jak masz linie napowietrzna, to moze szarpac Ci kablami), centrala telefoniczna w domu, albo faks tez moga sprawiac problemy. Jesli to wina pogody, albo problem wystepuje losowo, to zadzwon do tepsy. Jesli bedziesz wystarczajaco uparty, to powinni poprawic parametry linii (np. przepiac na inna pare miedziakow, albo do innej centrali).

zmieniłem serwer ale objawy pozostały te same, spróbuje jeszcze zmienić modem na Thompsona, może to cos pomoże, a z NND raczej chyba wszystko jest w porządku.

jak masz sagema fast@800 to polecam wymiane na thomsona speedtouch 300 rev.4.00!
tez mialem sagemka. kupilem nowy kontroler usb 1.1 pod pci na ktorym nie udalo mi sie odpalic modemu.

po wymianie na thomsona i instalce najnowszego netconfa wszystko smiga az milo!

Natura czasem plta niewyobrazalne figle :)

Mialem Sagema- nie dzialal (tzn dzialal, ale wywalalo co pol godziny).
Zmienilem na Thomsona i serwer chodzi kilka dni bez rozlaczania
(dopoki tepsa nie zazyczy sobie zmienic mi IP) :)

Ja mam to samo z tym ze na modemie thomson na ethernecie. Sam niewiem co robic bo spoczatku myslalem ze to wina tepsy ale zaraz po restarcie modemu net jest.

p.s. Jaka komenda mozna sprawdzic jak synchronizowal sie modem ?? :D

dodatkowo w momencie zerwania połączenia z netem wywala mi połączenie z routerem (w LAN'ie - przez ssh) pisząc że <ssh: connect to: xxxxxx: Connection refused> .. Odmawia tak przez jakiś czas i w końcu po jakimś czasie z powrotem mogę się zalogować .. dziwne, co gorsza nie mogę tego drugiego błędu (rozłączanie poł. w LAN) skorelować z rozłączaniem neostrady - tak naprwdę to raz się to dszieje jak neo się rozłącza a innym razem wcale nie .. :(
Używam modemu RJ45 (siemens-xpressLink), uruchomione demony to: syslogd, klogd, crond, sshd (niestandardowy port), lan, internet, iptables (doaałem ogr. ilości poł. dla każdgo hosta do max 60), dnsmasq.

p.s. ciekawe czy ktoś jeszcze obserwuje ten wątek :/

komputer pentium III 1000 MHz 128 RAM . Pomocy bo nie wiem co się dzieje, a dzisiaj zawiesił się już 3 razy.

U mnie jest modem RJ45 (Siemens-XpressLink) i wystarczyło obniżenie wartości MTU z 1412 do 1350. Błąd "read (AsyncReadFromPPP): Input/output error" zniknął po tym. Dodatkowo zainstalowałem firewall 'Zciecha' - polecam spróbować. Dodam, że używam protokołu 'pppoe' dla neostrady.
ELNet - w Twoim problemie (jeśli obniżenie MTU nie pomoże) skupiłbym sie na szukaniu błędów urządzenia USB - logi: kernel, messages, dmesg itp.. zacytuj którychś z nich jeśli zauważysz tam niepokojące wpisy na temat USB

Dokąd jest połączenie w logach error i kernel nic nowego, żadnych nowych komunikatów. zawisił się 3 razy w ciągu 3 godzin, mniej więcej co 1 godz. Logu dmesg nie mam co to za log? Po zawieszeniu komunikaty które wyżej cytowałem. Pozdrowienia Piotr Z.

wklej logi tuż przed i po zawieszeniu się, dodatkowo zmień koniecznie wartość MTU. Czy modem jest cały czas zsynchronizowany, czy też 'rozsynchronizowuje się' wtedy kiedy masz ten błąd '..input/output' ?

i powienien pokazać jak się nazywa plik konfiguracyjny dla ppp i w tym pliku musisz zmienić tę wartość MTU

zawiesił się o 20:49. Modem nie stracił synchronizacji.
I o co tu może chodzić. MTU jeszcze nie zmienione. Jest prawdopodobne, że to jest powód ??? !!!
