Witam, Mam wielką prośbę do właścicieli sprzetu z kontrolerami SCSI i RAID - potrzebuję następujących danych: - ogólny opis sprzętu - zainstalowane kontrolery (z zaznaczeniem czy kontroler jest wbudowany w płytę główną czy jest to karta ISA/EISA/PCI) - czy i jak bios płyty głównej widzi kontroler i podpięte do niego dyski, czy jest możliwość przełączenia kontrolera startowego IDE --> SCSI --> RAID, czy jest możliwość wyboru dysku startowego - czy kontroler ma własny bios i czy w nim można włączyć/wyłączyć bootowanie systemu z danego kontrolera, czy jest możliwość wyboru dysku startowego Ci którzy uruchomili na takich maszynach NND proszei są dodatkowo o pokazanie fragmentów "dmesg" i "lspci -v" dotyczących kontrolerów i dysków, oraz dokładnej informacji o wersji NND (nazwa pliku iso). Powyższe informacje potrzebne mi są do wprowadzenia obsługi RAID do instalatora. Sam script został już upgradowany, jednak nadal występują problemy z bootowaniem w pewnych konfiguracjach sprzętowych. Ja niestety mam ograniczony dostep do sprzętu. Zainteresowanych pomocą proszę o kontakt przez PW. Z góry bardzo dziękuję. |

Dołanczam się do prośby. Mam kontroler jak w temacie i nie moge odpalić instalatora bo nie widzi mi dysków. (oczywiście wpisuje scsi przy starcie). Jeśli ma ktos patent na załodowanie strownika do jądra w czasie startu to będe wdzieczny. Pod fedorą jest to sym 53c8xx i macierz: cpqarray. dotąd pracowałem na redhato podobnych...ale mam ochote potestować rodzimą dystrybucje. Niestety na początku mam schody. Jakoś nie widze nigdzie manuala do tego. pozdrawiam |

pozdrawiam wszystko jest w jądrze. Jedynym problemem jest brak obsługi urządzeń /dev/ida/* /dev/cciss/* i /dev/rd/* w dotychczasowej wersji instalatora. Nowa wersja jest gotowa, jednak jest nadal w fazie testów, a brak dostępu do komputera z natywnie instalowanym raidem nie ułatwia sprawy. Spróbuj odpowiedzieć na pytania z pierwszego postu, na pewno się to przyda. |

Jeśli się kumuś przyda, to postaram się załączyć info z "dmesg". Narazie opiszę to co pamiętam. Posiadam nowe NND na n/w sprzęcie. Jednak samo NND jest na płycie ABIT BX 133-Raid i jest ono na dysku IDE (hdc1 - ATA100) , a pozostałe 3 dyski SCSI uruchamiane przez kartę PCI scsi (SDA1, SDB1, SDC1). Co do instalacji NND bezpośrednio na którymkolwiek dysku SCSI nie udało mi się -> NND ładnie się instalowało lecz po restarcie nie botowało. Być może mam jakąś starą kartę SCSI - chyba nie botowalną. Karta ta została zdemontowana z serwera COMPAQ ProLiant i być może tu miałem problem. Poza tym muszą być odpowiednie ustawienia botowania w biosie każej płyty gł. komputera. Ale to chyba wiadomo. |

U mnie wszystkie sprawne - a co, mają być jakieś niesprawne ?! No to jeszcze raz: ============== Na hde jest NND i nic więcej na tasiemkach z płyty głównej, acha - jeszcze jest CDROM ( ale nie pamiętam na którym hd__ , bo piszę ten tekst z pracy. Zaskoczyłeś mnie i przeraziłeś Panie "czerwo", ale wszystko (tak mi się przynajmniej wydaje) sprawdziłem i informuję, że: do pliku /etc/rc.local została dopisana taka oto linijka: hdparm -d -1 /dev/hde. - i to chyba jest przyczyną wyniku w/w "dmesg". Acha jeszcze jedno. Trochę mnie zaskoczyło, że mam takie słabe transfery na lokalnego ftp-a, na którym jest NND z kompa w domu, tzn.: - przesył jakiegokolwiek pliku z kompa w domu na NND był na poziomie 50-70 Kb/s na karcie Lan 10Mb/s . Po przepięciu na kartę Lan 100Mb/s transfer wykazywał około 900-1000Kb/s. Teraz jest już chyba OK! ------------------------------------------------------- |

Takie logi często są wynikiem źle ustawionego DMA. |
