od wczoraj jestem "szęśliwym" posiadaczem DSL 1000. Poprzednio miałem SDI i wszystko było OK. Po ponownym zainstalowaniu NND i konfiguracji wszystko jest prawidłowo, ale po jakimś czasie następuje zanik internetu. Pomaga tylko reset serwerka. Parametry serwera: Celeron 633, 256 RAM, dysk 1,2GB. Zainstalowany firewall i htb Zciecha

Przeinstalowałem system od początku i jest to samo - po chwili umiera serwer, może to eth1, ale z SDI chodziło super.

Wygląda jakby winą było eth1... a co masz podpięte pod eth1 - modem czy lan? ja bym proponował zrobienie testów na innej sieciówce - włóż drugiego Realteka 8139 i sprawdź jak wtedy chodzi... albo poprzełączaj kabelki od sieciówek i oczywiście przekonfiguruj nnd, bo jeśli pod eth1 masz podpięty modem to może coś "niewspółgra" pomiędzy Twoim SiSem a modemem... choć powinno działać ok.

P.S. no właśnie - zrób to co zaproponował prg080 :)

Wprawdzie koledzy już napisali ja tylko potwierdzę na 100 % bo sam mialem takie same problemy (to jest sieciówka zintegrowana z mobo(płytą głowną)) Wyłaczyłem ją w biosie, natomist do komputera wsadzilem (ja akurat 3 com) ale jak wsadzisz inną sieciówke realteka czy cus innego to zadzała. Naprawdę nie mecz się z tym sis-em bo modułek jest coś rypniety, a na nnd nie mozmy sobie skompilować nowego ze strony producenta.

Apropo Realteków... osobiście nie polecam ich dawać jako serwerowe sieciówki. Być może miałem dosobniony przypadek, ale kupiłem 2 sieciówki 8139D firmy Pentagram a po nie długim czasie jedna z nich siadała po krótkim czasie od uruchomienia... reboot pomagał ale tylko na chwilę... w związku z tym wymieniłem je na 3com`y i jak narazie chodzi bez problemów... a co najśmieszniejsze to za dwie 3com`a dałem tyle co za jedną na Realteku 8)
P.S. który model sieciówek 3com`a albo innej firmy polecacie?

Z tego co wiem 3comy sa wszystkie bezawaryjne a jak juz sie cos stanie to zazwyczaj jest dozywotnia gwarancja. Zreszta gdzies mam stara 3c509 i zawsze to byla najlepsza sieciowka na 10Mb ktora mialem w domu. A co do realtekow mialem parenascie modeli z roznych firm i z tego co widze to zalezy od firmy np. niektore sieciowki po roku mi padly niby chodza a polaczenia z siecia nie mam, a niektore chodza juz pare lat i nic im nie ma.

mam ten sam problem, po zmianie neo na dsl 1000 co jakis czas "znika" net... wtedy pomaga restart modemu + ew. polaczenia na serwerze...

wklej logi tak jak poprzednik... pewnie któraś z sieciówek pada... a poza tym lepiej daj nawet jakieś stare 10MB 3Com`y na allegro do kupienia już za parenaście zł niż realteki :D

Witam i z góry proszę o wyrozumiałość gdyż jestem początkującym użytkownikiem NND jak również mam małe pojęcie na temat linuxa ale być może informacje których udzielę naprowadzą na jakieś rozwiązanie osoby zaawansowane w administracji owego systemu.
Mianowicie problem o którym powyzej mowa również miałem:
komp: celeron 400MHz, 128MB RAM, 4,3HDD, Fdd, 3com905 + sdi
po zainstalowaniu
1. freesco 0.2.7 (podstawowa konfiguracja opisywana na necie) całkowity brak połączenia z netem
2. freesco 0.3.0 (j.w. podstawowa konfiguracja) wszystko działa ale po dłuższej pracy czasami kilka kilka godzin do kilku dni roouter się wieszał ratował jedynie restart i wszystko wracało do normy również brak możliwości zalogowania po lanie celem restartu. Moje małe spostrzeżenie w momencie gdy jeden z kompów klient pracował na linuxie np: Mandrake bałwan jestem z netu częściej sie wieszał router.
3. W tej chwili mam zainstalowane NND i wszystko jak do tej pory ok całość działa ponad tydzień :)
P.S. Co prawda nie rozwiązało to problemu w przypadku Freesco ale ponownie zwracam uwagę na powyższe zachowanie na tym samym kompie różnych dystrybcji może Ktos wpadnie na jakiś pomysł
pozdrawiam (swoja drogą NND jest super i oby było więcej tak wspaniałych ludzi co pracują nad takimi jak ten projektami)
