Neo rozlacza sie czesto: raz na kilka godzin a raz co kilka minut, mam skrypcik co odnawia polaczenie ale to mnie nie zadowala. Czesciej rozlacza sie jak jest duzy ruch, rzadziej jak lacze jest nieobciazone.
Mam nowy net_conf. Jestem zdesperowany prosze o pomoc

U mnie bylo podobnie. Pomoglo mi wlacznie trybu dma na dysku.
Jak nie masz hdparm zainstalowanego w systemie:
pacman -Sy
pacman -S hdparm

Tak sprawdzasz czy masz wlaczone dma: hdparm -d /dev/hda
Dma załancza sie komenda: hdparm -d1 /dev/hda

U mnie byla systuacja podobna. Wina procesora - celeron 300 (11 osób) - procecor nie daje rady obslugiwac usb i zrywa połaczenie (tak mnie oświecil Zciech) - wylaczylem wtedy pakiet w statystykach zliczajacy ilość połaczeń - podejrzewam, że moze to byc cos podobnego .

a gdzie to sie wylacza ?

Wstyd sie przyznac (bo pewnie mozna inaczej), ale ja usunolem po prostu plik /usr/stat/il_pol . Jak co to zawsze mozesz go sobie skopiowac na nowo,no i wyskakuje parę blędnych linijek przy uruchamianiu, no i na stronce ze statystykami przestaje zliczac ilosc polaczen. Po prostu przeczytalem na forum,ze owe zliczanie generuje spore obciazenie. U mnie pomoglo, ale i tak przymierzam sie de pentiumaII 400.

Ja niestety nie mam czegos takiego u siebie.
Ma ktos jeszcze jakis pomysl ?

w tym momencie na routerze byl net a na innych kompach nie.

Po restarcie polaczenia po kilku sekundach to samo.

Neo na modemach USB to porazka. Co modem to inny problem, sam sie sie mecze z nim, ja bym polecal kupic router/modem adsl pod karte sieciowa, to jest kwestia 100zl + karta sieciowa. A wydatek naprawde oszczedza nerwow.

warunkiem koniecznym bezawaryjnego działania neo na usb jest posiadanie dobrej płyty głównej. Warunkiem wystarczającym jest bezawaryjne, najlepiej niezależne od komputera zasilanie modemu usb.

Czesc to znowu ja. Chce sie tu podzielic moja radością: otóż po zamontowaniu owego procka PII 400 na prawde fatum neosrady dla mnie zniklo. (64 Mb ram)
Dodam jescze,ze mam płyte z abita tak wiec moze być prawdziwa teza macka ad. lepszej płyty głównej.
W każdym razie mam nadal 11 uzytkownikow i coraz wiecej dostępnych usług. Natomiast obciążenie procesora sięga maxymalnie 50%.
Ostatnie zawieszenie i ponowne uruchomienie mialo miejsce 3 dni temu
